Event Details
The CPrac (SA) designation is registered with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). The CPrac (SA) designation focuses on the fundamental aspects of compliance and is awarded to candidates who meet the relevant knowledge and work experience requirements. The foundation of the designation is the 2024 Generally Accepted Compliance Practice (GACP) framework, King IV and Code of Ethical and Professional conduct.
If you meet the eligibility requirements of knowledge, work experience and code of ethical and professional conduct, start your journey to the CPrac (SA):
1. Complete the CV mapping document (see "documents" section below).
2. Have it signed off by "Verifiers" who are your current line manager(s) for at least 3 years and / or a Compliance Officer that works with you.
3. Then UPLOAD these documents with your application:

- Your detailed CV
- Certificate of your highest, completed qualification.
4. Receive and pay the invoice. This application fee is non-refundable.
5. The CISA assessor evaluates your application to determine if you can write the board exam or if you are eligible to go through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process now renamed "exemption from exam". (A limited number of candidates would be eligible for exemption from exam previously known as RPL.)
6. The Professionalism team will send you the outcome and a link to register for the next exam or exemption from exam.

- Applications are processed on an ongoing basis.
- Cut-offs to sit for upcoming exams apply, i.e. 2.5-3 months before the exam date in order to prepare examinees and satisfy necessary admin.
