The designation can be acquired through writing the pilot board exam.


Minimum requirements for eligibility comprises:

- meeting the membership requirements. Only members in good standing may apply (no student members); and

- meeting the minimum experience requirements as defined in the competency framework.


Step 1a: Register for the Designation by the stipulated closing date:

Step 1b: Upload your CV and supporting documentation by the stipulated closing date, to be evaluated for eligibility for the Exam.

Step 2: The CV will be evaluated to determine eligibility and readiness for the Designation. You may be requested to provide additional information to reach this determination.

Step 3: You will be contacted with the outcome of your application.

Step 4: If you are permitted access to the exam, then you will be invoiced for the exam fee.

Step 5: Upon payment of the exam fee you will be invited to an exam prep session and a technical dry run session.
