Yvette Peo Mogatusi is a seasoned Compliance, Risk and Governance professional with 15 years experience in driving strategic initiatives that promote corporate integrity and sustainability in the public and private sectors within the Banking, Financial Services and Trade industries.

Yvette currently serves as the Compliance and Operational Risk Manager at Botswana Development Corporation. She brings expertise and a passion for ensuring organisations navigate complex regulatory environments successfully. With a keen focus on aligning business operations with best governance practices and legislative requirements.

Her strategic insights have helped shape risk management frameworks and compliance strategies across various industries. Further to this, she serves as a board member for Stanbic Financial Services (Pty) Ltd and a member of the Governance, Ethics and Legal Committee of the Botswana National Olympics Committee, offering her wealth of knowledge to guide high-level decision-making and organisational growth.

As a holder of various qualifications Yvette is deeply committed to professional and personal development to keep abreast with the constantly evolving global landscape. Yvette holds a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree from the University of Botswana, a Commonwealth Executive Master’s in Business Administration obtained from the Botswana Open University, a Compliance Practitioner certification from the Compliance Institute Southern Africa (CISA), Certified Anti - Money Laundering Specialist and qualifications as a Chartered Secretary and Chartered Governance Professional from the Chartered Governance Institute Southern Africa.

Yvette is known for her commitment to ethical standards, and ability to cultivate environments where risk is managed effectively while fostering corporate transparency. Her professional journey reflects a deep dedication to making a lasting impact in the compliance, risk and governance landscape.

Heike Jennewein has over 25 years of expertise in the Anti-Financial Crime sector. Since 2019 she is CAMS certified (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist). She began her journey as a Fraud Analyst and progressed to become the Head of Fraud Prevention & Chargeback, where she set up a fraud prevention department at a German credit card processor.

Over the years, she has held various positions, including Business Analyst and Product Director, acting as a product owner for solution vendors. As Product Director, she oversaw the creation of a rule mining and case management solution. Heike has successfully executed numerous fraud prevention consultancy projects for banks and payment service providers, aimed at minimizing fraud losses and enhancing internal processes.

Prior to joining IMTF in January 2025, she was the DACH Lead for Anti-Financial Crime Solutions at SAS. In her role as Presales Director, she assists clients in identifying the right solutions to meet their business needs and achieve their objectives

Rianné is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and Compliance Professional (SA). During
her 27-year career in banking she filled various senior management roles in
business, finance, risk management, internal audit and compliance.
She ran her own compliance consulting firm for 8 years before being appointed
as the CEO of the Compliance Institute Southern Africa in July 2018. She is also
the Chair of the International Federation of Compliance Associations (IFCA).
She is passionate about compliance and ensuring that the compliance
profession is positioned as a strategic business partner, an independent
assurance provider and what it means to be the ‘C’ in GRC.
She became a Chartered Accountant at the age of 41 and lives by her personal motto ‘It is never too late to have a happy childhood (or a new career).
